Fox
Creek Golf Club was designed by famed designer John LaFoy. Fox
Creek is a Par 62 golf course with eleven Par 3’s and six par 4’s, and one par 5.
The course features Bermuda grass fairways and new champion bermuda grass
greens. Fox Creek offers a quick but challenging round of golf for
golfers of all playing abilities.
As part of a major course renovation project, Fox Creek installed new greens this past fall. the installation and grow-in were successful and the greens are in outstanding shape. Not only was the new grass installed, a total of 10,000 square feet in additional putting surface was added making the course even more user friendly.
A number of tree were also removed from the course which should help the grass conditions on the tees and greens where shade had been a problem. The course was modified slightly converting the 6th hole into a fun par 5. Permanent landscaping beds were installed along with a fountain in the lake on hole #9. The bunkers on the course were redone with new sand added. Additional work was also done to improve the drainage in selected areas.
Fox Creek has always been a great value and a local favorite place to play. The new greens along with these other improvements should make for an excellent golf experience!
